What's Included

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

The following is what is included with your booth fee:

  • Pipe and drape booth frame and ID sign
  • Company listed in the BRS Show program
  •  Company listing on the BRS interactive floor plan
  • Opportunity to upload a logo to your company listing on the interactive floor plan
  • NEW! Free food for all attendees and exhibitors*. Heavy hors d’oeuvre stations in the exhibit hall will replace the sit-down dinner of previous years.
  • *Please Note: Booth staffing limitations will be enforced. Four booth personnel for a 10x10 booth, eight personnel for a 10x20 booth, 12 personnel for a 10x30 or larger booth. Badges for additional exhibit staff may be purchased for $30/each and will include access to the food stations. Badges are required to be worn at all times during exhibit hours.

REGISTRATION FORMS

 

Booth Personnel

All exhibitors staffing a booth must be pre-registered!  Booth staffing limitations will be enforced. Four booth personnel for a 10x10 booth, eight personnel for a 10x20 booth, 12 personnel for a 10x30 or larger booth. Badges for additional exhibit staff may be purchased for $30/each and will include access to the food stations. Badges are required to be worn at all times during exhibit hours. If you have a last minute staff replacement or unregistered staffer, they are required to show a business card from the exhibiting company at the registration desk to receive a badge. Exhibitors staffing a booth must wear a badge and work the booth, no selling in the aisles. 
Associate members who are not exhibitors are not allowed on the show floor.

Contest/Drawing Registration

If you plan to use a drawing for prizes during the Builders & Remodelers Show (BRS), you must register your drawing before the show opens. Show Management must approve any and all drawings or contests conducted by an exhibitor.

Each exhibitor is responsible for ensuring all booth activities abide by state laws and regulations, including gambling and gaming laws. For more details, please see the Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement website from the State of Minnesota. 

NEW Reveal 2019

Attendees are looking for the hottest new products & services, so make sure you stand out from the crowd. Here’s where you can introduce what’s new while maximizing interest in your company. Tell us what you’re displaying that is ‘new’ and we’ll feature you in the New Reveal for 2019. 

BRS will:

  • Feature a new product/service reveal page on the BRS website
  • Promote new products/services on social media, with #BRSnew
  • Recognize participating exhibitors in Show program
  • Provide an ‘It’s New’ flag to display in your booth at the show
  • Mention exhibitor and/or product/service in appropriate media releases and social media posts
  • Award an exhibitor with best new product/service at the 2018 Show. The winner will gain exposure on the BRS website

IMPORTANT INFO

Thank you for exhibiting at the Builders and Remodelers Show (BRS), a product and service expo presented by BATC-Housing First Minnesota on February 13, 2019.

Move In

Move In Times: February 12 from 4:00-11:00pm and February 13 from 7:00am-12:00pm.  All booths must be set up by 1:00pm on February 13.  (Show hours 2:00-7:00pm).


Large Booths - EXHIBITORS WITH BOOTHS 10’ x 20’ OR LARGER and/or using heavy equipment MUST SET UP on February 12. No trucks on show floor.

Unloading - Exhibitors must be prepared to unload their own materials with their own hand trucks and dollies. Vehicles must be removed as soon as unloaded from the unloading area. Loading dock closes at 12:00pm day of show. Exhibitors requiring forklifts should make arrangements prior to move-in with Brede Exposition Services. Heavy equipment will be charged forklift and operator rates. No forklifts allowed after 12:00pm day of show. Call Brede at 612-331-4540 for verification and any questions.

Move Out

Move Out Times: February 13 from 7:01-11:00pm and February 14 from 8:00am-12:00pm. 

If the booth is not down by noon on February 14, the booth will be dismantled and the exhibitor will be charged removal costs. Make sure your booth is packed up and ready to move out before you bring your vehicle to the dock. If you have products or literature to be picked up later, be sure to mark them: DO NOT TRASH - HOLD FOR PICK UP. We encourage exhibitors to remove as much as possible at show closing as the Convention Center will begin preparing for the next show.

 

Exhibitor Parking

There are a limited number of spaces to park your auto: $16.00* (16’ or less) or $32.00 (16’ or more) per day in the Marshaling Yard. Parking will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis the first day of move-in. Check on availability at Exhibitor Services. Otherwise Convention Center parking plus nearby ramps will be available.

Brede Exposition Services

Advance Order Discount Deadline: January 29, 2019

Brede is the Official Service Contractor for the upcoming Builders & Remodelers Show 2019. Included in the service manual are forms for ordering various services and equipment.  The Brede forms are to be returned to the Brede office, the others return to the specific contractors providing the services.

Trade Show Leads

Advance Order Discount: January 15, 2019

BRS is proud to offer lead retrieval technology equipment rental for exhibitors. Each attendee badge contains a code with their business card information encoded. The information is stored in the scanner and delivered to the exhibitor via email in Excel format within 24 hours after the close of the show. Depending on the scanner you order, you can either gather additional attendee information by scanning items on a lead qualifier sheet, or you can make electronic notes and add attach custom qualifiers.
